The aim of this document is to provide FastTrack360 Administrators with instructions on how to prepare their systems for Outlook Extensions.
If Outlook Extensions is to be installed on a workstation running Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8/8.1, Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, you will need to follow the steps below.
![]() | If Outlook Extensions is already installed on the machine, please uninstall the incumbent version prior to installing the update. |
![]() | When installing Outlook Extensions on a workstation, you must be logged onto the workstation as an Administrator of the local machine and ensure Microsoft Outlook is closed. |
![]() | Depending on your PC’s Operating System, the installation may ask to reboot your machine. Therefore as a precaution please ensure all current tasks are completed and applications are closed. |
HOW TO INSTALL OUTLOOK ADD-INS - WINDOWS PRO EDITION
Step 1. | Type 'Company Portal' in the search bar next to the windows icon at the bottom of your screen. Click on Company Portal App to open. | ![]() |
Step 2. | Click on FastTrack360 Outlook Add-in | ![]() |
Step 3. | Click on Install to being the installation. You should see a message Download pending..... Once complete, you'll see a tick and 'Installed' | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
HOW TO INSTALL OUTLOOK ADD-INS - WINDOWS HOME EDITION
Step 1. | Click here to run the installation file | |
Step 2. | Depending on the Browser you are using, the file will display in the download section of the screen. Click to open. | ![]() |
Step 3. | The Windows File explorer opens. On the right-hand pane click setup to launch the setup process. | |
Step 4. | Depending on the Browser you are using and the Browser settings, you may be given the options to Save and Open, use this option is provided If there is now Save and Open option, the file will download and display in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click on the arrow and select Open | |
Step 5. | Depending on your browser and environment, a protect / security warning pop up may display, click More Info. If the pop up looks different to the screenshot to the right, look for a clickable item for more options - click on this to show further options | ![]() |
Step 6. | When additional options display, click Run anyway. If the pop up looks different to the screenshot to the right, you may see an option for Run, click this | ![]() |
Step 7. | The FastTrack Outlook Extensions Setup Program launches, select Install The installation commences | ![]() |
Step 8. | When the installation has completed, click Finish The FastTrack Outlook Extensions screen closes and the installation is complete | ![]() |
Step 9. | If this is the first installation of Outlook Extensions, users will need to configure settings prior to using the tool. For existing users that have installed the latest release, they may need to re-establish their settings prior to using the tool |
CONNECTING OUTLOOK ADD-INS TO FASTTRACK360
After the installation of Outlook Extensions / Add-ins you should now see Add-ins in the toolbar at the top of your Outlook screen. To establish the connection between Add-ins and FastTrack360 follow these steps:
Step 1. | Click on Add-ins | ![]() |
Step 2. | Click on Settings | ![]() |
Step 3. | Enter FastTrack360 URL: https://workforcexs.fasttrack360.com.au | ![]() |
Step 4. | Enter FastTrack360 Username & Password * Note: Remember to update this password each time you update your FastTrack360 password to maintain connection between Add-ins and FastTrack360 Click on Submit | ![]() |
